Just how much can you do in 48 hours, with no preplanning or forethought? Well we decided to try our best and enter the 48 Hour Movie Challenge.

Some might consider us insane for spending two days with little or no sleep and writing, producing, shooting and editing a 5 min film in 48 hours. But we were up for the challenge. Working with South East Productions we set out with the information we were given:

Title: Outdoors
Genre: Drama
Line: "Is that the best you can do!?!"

When we got drama out hearts sank for a moment, as it must have for all the other crews who got the same genre. I remembered a nugget of wisdom given to me by a Reckless wanderer (course tutor). Drama pretty much covers every genre, from comedy to sci-fi, As long as the story is about the characters and the interactions between them. So we decided on a nice psychological horror backbone for our characters to get to grips with their friendship and grow.

Anyway to cut a long story short we made it on time, but only just. With a story of three characters, Jessica, Nina and Steve. Who find themselves being chased by the ghost of their imagination and having to work out their differences in order to get out.
